From the darkroom to the gallery walls

A new exhibition of camera-less photography by visually impaired artist Sian Cann opens this month.

Sharing her excitement, Sian mentioned, “It has been a very thrilling time for me. After successfully applying to Arts Council England I recently returned from a month in California. During my time there, I worked in an experimental darkroom, creating new pieces for the exhibition. Focusing on ingraining these techniques to muscle memory so I can continue to work as a visually impaired artist”.
