A 14-year, award winning global, collaborative embroidery project
The Red Dress project, created by artist Kirstie Macleod, is an inspiring platform for women around the world to share their stories through embroidery. From 2009 to 2023, the Red Dress travelled the globe, being continuously embroidered on by women and men from 51 countries. Each artist was encouraged to express their unique identity and cultural experience through their embroidery.
The Red Dress will be on exhibition at ACEarts, Somerton 1st – 29th June, inviting viewers to see and connect with the stories woven into its fabric. Acearts.co.uk
